xFarm's context

xFarm is a leading farm management solution in Italy. In 2019, they discovered the value of using satellite insights in agriculture. They decided to take a first step towards it: they started to provide NDVI for crop health monitoring, across a few hundreds of fields. This strategy turns out successful. With an increasing demand from the famers, they quickly realized the need for a scalable solution and further insights. 

xFarm's Goal

Therefore, to achieve further market growth, xFarm set up a growth strategy centred on integrating a wide range of satellite insights.

Designed solution

Spacesense has not only helped xFarm to improve crop health monitoring through clear images of their crop health, as well as more vegetation indices such as NDWI, SAVI, LAI, EVI.
